This is the 1e gen bmw z4 3.0 SMG
The 1e gen came direct after the BMW Z3 that had only 1 Gen.
It is build from 2002-2008.
In 2006 there was a facelift model and also the M models cam in the market incl the Coupe versions
the engine change a little
I was a little suprised by this car. it is just a very nice car with a nice space in the interior .
This 3.0 engine is very smooth and delivers a very smooith power band.
The SMG transmission is very good i think . I just liker these transmission and it is just a very sporty feel.
it is easy to use and works great.
I also drove a little with the roof down but personally did not really like it . I had a lot wind noise for me personlly the top of the window is to low of im just to long.
if i would buy a Z4 i would take a coupe.
But that is very personal. i’m just not a cabrio guy
