Almost 2 monsths later complete new Turbo system New 4-1 Exhaust manifolds. new 4″ exhaust system
It is not that i did not do nothing 2 months. Just wanted to finish this in good order. So did not really had time to film anything. At this point the full exhaust system has been renewed.
New turbo a Pulsar 7170G (G40-1150 Copy)/. Turbine inlet 3″ outlet 3.5″ compressor inlet 4″ outlet 2.5″. Downpipe from the turbo is enlarged from 3.5-4″ straight out the turbo. Downpipe fully 4″ up to the end muffler. End muffler to 3″ inlet 3″oulet muffler and a 3″bypass in front of the muffler so i have 2 times 3″outlet if i open the bypass valve.
The wastgate is a 60mm i’m using a 2.5″ outlet pipe merged in the 4″dowpipe
The Pre turbo exhaust system. exhaust ports are 4mm bigger so im using 48mm pipe per running this is about 42.5mm internall. I’m having a 4-1 merged collector to a 60mm out diamter pipe,. both banks runing from a 60mm pipe to a flex pipe in to e merged pipe of 76mm in the inlet of the turbo that is 3″ on this 76mm collector i have 60mm pipe for the intake of the wastegate .
I have made an extra clamp on the level just behing cyl 4 so i can remove the complete first downpipe section in the engine bay so i can reach the sparkplugs more easy. . i had to make room by removing a part of the plate section under the chassis number to have place for the massive 4″dowpipe.
Exhaust system incl pre turbo system is removed up to end section. To have it insulated with ceremic cloth an stainles thin plate. I did just also on the last system. This will be shown in the next video also.
