HOW TO Exhaust heat insulation Updated version!!
how to do the insulatuion on your exhaust. I made a video before about this. But the end result was not prefect so improvement was needed. The isulation on the last exhaust was working like it should. but the assembly on the piping was not perfect
I used a cheap tig welder. Modified it to do spot welding. but it was to strong and was burning holes in the 0.1mm stainless steel.
The solution!!!. A friend of mine tried a cheap spot welder. And this works prerfect. Follow link below. There are much version that will work. but this a 8000w 8.4v spot welder. With a potmeter setting 0-9 9 is used to welde the 0.1mm to the steel piping about about setting 4 for welding the material to each other.
The material im using is a set from HJS-motorsports follow the link to the website. These set’s are sold from different dealers and can be found on there website. But like i mentioned in the video there are more solutions to to this. This is just 1 of them
