After last weeks dyno session i did some driving, Also doing some adjustments on the idle control. Daniel from DW techsolution put the idle control in closed loop. Also put on the idle ignition lock function so it will control idle with the throttle body in combination with the ignition advance and retard
When the ignition lock function is on i have a crackle kind of sound out of the exhaust so so fuel is burned in the exhaust when im going of throttle. So for example im driving like 2500rpm and shut the throttle to 0 % i hear crackle and pomps in the exhaust soe fuel is burned when i have 0% tps
I have the overrun cut also activated some there should be no fuel injected.
The can be just some fine tune of the when the idle should be activated but if can also be a leaking injector. So to make sure it is just fine tuning i will pull up the fuel rail and the injectors and test them with the maxx ecu tuning software.
So i can put the fuelpump output on and off just like i want so i can check with fuel fuel pressure if a injector is leaking
I can also under diagnostics menu selected a injector to be activated and see if the closing of the injector is 100% and no drops will be hanging on there.
I tested this both and there where no issues with the injectors so it is just some fine tuning
Why do i check this and not just only try to get this done with fine tuning is . Because if you have a leaking injector it can make 1 cyl run rich so the total AFR can be influenced by this . and other cyl can be running a little lean. but also to much fuel in cyl and create bore wash and damage the cyl Walls
