the Mercedes CL55 AMG i drove with the m113 K engine
the famous 5.4 v8 kompressor.
what a beautiful power house
500Hp and 700NM it is just perfect. the power delivery is very nice
and the sound is just great. the cl55 is 1875kg empty and still wil do 0-100 in 4.6 sec. what is very fast for a car of this size and only rear wheel drive. i see this car more as a s-class coupe
the dashboard and interior is like the same as an s-class w220.
als the coupe is pillar less so when you open the front and rear window in is complete open. also very nice.
still there is enough room in the back and you have a very big trunk.
so it is also a car that can be used daily.

The Mercedes CL55 AMG standard delivered with the ABC hydraulic suspension that is controlling bodyroll and ride comfort in the car and with a push on the button you can change the driving character of the car.

Also this car is connected to a 5 speed 722.6 automatic that has 3 modes Comfort, Sport and Manual. that in combination with the suspension will change the car from a normall cruiser to a manual sportscar.

don’t forget that the first 2 years of the w215 the car had a NA v8 with 360 hp so from 2003 -2006 the kompressor engine was avalible. so when shopping for a cl55 have a look what you buy and my opinion is that there is only 1 cl55 AMG and that is with the kompressor engine
